Help The Ross Family

Hello All,

This page is being organized by the friends of Troy and Tiffany Ross as they attend to their son’s medical needs. We created this Go Fund Me for those who wanted to join with us as we love, support, encourage, and pray for this sweet family. We have had a lot of people reaching out and asking how they can help. Prayers are much coveted, but we would also ask that you direct others who want to encourage and give towards the Ross's financial needs toward this page.

Their son, Joel, who is, 14 years old, was in an ATV accident Sunday, September 24, where he broke his neck. He was life flighted to Lutheran Hospital following the accident. He had immediate surgery to remove the crushed vertebrae that were severely pinching his spinal cord. He will be undergoing another surgery in the days ahead for repair and placement of a plate. As of now, Joel has not regained complete feeling below his waist. We do not know what the future holds and so we remain hopeful and prayerful that the Lord would comfort him and give him complete healing in the days and weeks ahead.

If you’ve ever met Joel, you would know his contagious love for the Lord and for others. He’s always the first to lend a helping hand or encourage someone when they are down. God has gifted him with amazing musical talents that he uses in return to edify others. He is creative, artistic, and loves to have fun! He is a "glass half full" kind of kid! He continues to amaze us all with his incredible strength, courage, and faith in his Savior. He has been through a lot over the past 24 hours and yet still surprised us with a smile when we visited him.

We wait patiently on the Lord and pray for a positive mindset, peace, comfort, and ABOVE ALL, healing for Joel. Through it all, PRAISE GOD that He is still worthy of our praise, He is still good, and we know He is drawing near to the Ross Family and especially Joel during this difficult time! We ask that you keep his doctor and staff, his parents -Troy and Tiffany Ross, and his siblings- Addison, Nicole, Caleb, and Grace, uplifted in your prayers.

In the days, weeks, and months ahead we know the Ross family will be incurring a variety of expenses in medical needs, travel expenses to and from hospital, meals, etc. Please help us show them how much they are loved by their friends and community by considering giving to this fund.
