Louie’s surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends & family, last time you all came through in a huge way when Remi was experiencing neurological symptoms & although I hate to ask again, I am. Louie injured himself while chasing a coyote out of our yard back in August. We believed he tore his cruciate. We have then since tried a newer procedure called prolotherapy. However prolotherapy has not worked because the ligament is not a tear, it’s most likely ruptured. He received prolotherapy over a course of time but the vet stated there’s no improvement due to the severity of the injury. Today is Louie’s 4th birthday & he is in pain. He is almost completely non-weight baring & he is starting to become depressed. Louie is our baby & it breaks our hearts to see him limping or completely holding his back leg up. He was never asked to be the protector of our flock of chickens & ducks, he took that role on himself. He has chased off hawks, a fox & a coyote. Surgery will be needed & after the expense of his prolotherapy fail, we are asking for kindness & generosity from our loved ones.
