Rebuild livesُ: Help Me to Rescue My Family
Donation protected
My name is Eman, a Palestinian from Gaza. I am a teacher and a mother of three wonderful children - Aya, Said, and Dana. Our lives has been turned upside down due to the recent aggression against Gaza. I lost my job as an Arabic teacher. Since October 2023, we have been displaced to Rafah in search of safety.
Another heartbreaking shift in our life took place when we received the worst news ever. Our HOME has been destroyed by Israeli air strikes. We are currently living in Rafah among 1.5 million refugees, facing unimaginable challenges every day.
Imagine: The laughter of children echoing through a warm living room, the scent of spices wafting from the kitchen, and the soft hum of life in a home filled with love. This was once my reality, my haven amidst the hardships of Gaza. Now, silence hangs heavy in the air, the scent of dust replaces spices, and the laughter of my children is tinged with fear.
- Aya, Said, and MY BABY Dana.
Their bright eyes used to be filled with dreams of the future, dreams I nurtured as an Arabic teacher. But the recent conflict shattered our world. I lost My job, our home, our sense of normalcy - all gone in a flash of violence.
We fled to Rafah, seeking refuge among 1.5 million others. Every day is a struggle for survival, a constant battle against despair. Yet, it's the pain in my children's eyes that cuts deepest. Aya clutches her favorite book, its pages torn, a symbol of innocence lost. Said, once so full of energy, now withdraws, haunted by the nightmares that echo the explosions. Dana, my little star, whispers about the home she can't remember, her voice trembling.
But amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope remains. The kindness of strangers, the unwavering love for my children, and the unyielding human spirit fuel my fight. I reach out to you not for charity, but for a chance to rebuild our lives.
Your donation, no matter how small, can be the brick that rebuilds our walls, the book that mends Aya's dreams, the ray of light that chases away Said's nightmares. It can be the difference between despair and hope, between surviving and truly living.
and I need your help and support. To get out of here, I need to pay to get out of here through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. To be safe, we have to pay fees. The fee required for each adult - $5,000 - exceeds anything I could imagine, and for each child $2,500. Please your donation, no matter how small, will help us and save my children's lives so we can build a new life.
