Help for Burial & Tombstone for my big brother

Hi everyone, I’m starting a fundraiser for my brother Curtis Aaron burial & tombstone. I’ve payed in full $5,000 to the funeral director name Darone L Smith at Helping Hand Memorial back in October,2023 and this guy never paid for the tombstone! He bought one on his own and placed it at his gravesite. The Casmir Catholic Cemetery only have their special made plats put there once the money is paid. So it was pulled up. They told me Darone never paid them and still as of today August 20,2024 he still haven’t made one single payment! I’m so hurt cause our family worked so hard to give my brother a proper burial and he just took our money. He did right by us with the funeral but not the burial and tombstone. I have so many messages from him stating he’s going to start making payments and he still haven’t. I’ve tried calling numerous of times lately and now his number is Changed, and no where to be found since he was later fired from his job. We were scammed by him. Our family isn’t the only one he did this to. The cemetery said it’s more families that he haven’t paid for likewise. I don’t understand why they let him keep burying without the full payment. I can’t grieve right cause a part of what’s missing isn’t at his gravesite. So I’m asking for you all’s help to get the payment so our family can have some type of closure. Anything helps.
