Support Sarah’s Recovery

Hello!

We are a community of friends far and wide who are raising funds to support Sarah Sherman following her mountain biking accident in July 2023. Sarah sustained severe injuries that required the fusion of 8 of her vertebrae. Almost all of her ribs were broken as well as her shoulder and wrist. Incredibly, her helmet did it’s job and her brain was unharmed.

Sarah has faced this traumatic event with her characteristic grace and grit—she has been remarkably resilient and determined even in the early days of her recovery. Sarah is up and moving, committed to her therapy goals so that she can regain as much functioning as possible.

Sarah and Thomas have three beloved and energetic children in kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades. This accident brings with it significant financial burden of medical expense and loss of income.
