This is Tommy Alexander, I remember him as the blond kid from church growing up, maybe was he a shepherd boy in the navity scene. He was younger than me, but I remember. His family was fun, sweet, sassy, and full of love.
Fast forward, young Tommy became a Recon Marine. Young Tommy went places & did things that only few understand.
That time changed him like it has so many.
On November 2, 2019 Tommy lost his battle with PTSD.
I knew young Tommy, some of you may have known the Marine.
Right now his family is trying to get him home from CA to our home state of Ohio and give him an honorable burial, but it's expensive and the VA can only help so much.
I know military families don't let military families go it alone. This is my way of helping as they grieve and try to sort out the details.
