Build a Waterwell in Memory of Abdullahi Farah

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return.
We aim to build with your support a Waterwell in Memory of our dear beloved brother, Abdullahi Farah, as charitable Sadaqah Jariyah ( long-term kindness that accrues ongoing reward from Allah). To honour him, the family intends to contract the building of a water well servicing a local hospital and community in Shalambood, Somalia.
Abdullahi was a kind, gentle soul. He was a dutiful son, a loving sibling, a kind uncle and a good friend to many. I have realised after his passing how his short life has positively touched many of those who knew him in Birmingham and abroad.
Abdullahi was a Civil Engineering graduate on a break, spending time with family in Somalia, when he passed away due to an accident. Life is a journey that ends; some of us just have shorter journeys than others. I will miss my brother Abdullahi as I am sure you will , so help us help him leave a lasting legacy of a water well which will serve a local hospital and a community in need in Somalia.
As the fundraising starts, we will update you about the project regularly. We will also aim to ensure a final video of the Waterwell in action upon completing the project is uploaded.
Remember, no charitable donation is too little; may god reward you for your support.
Update 01/12/2022
Please see below for breakdown of the WaterWell Cost for transparency. If we reach the £40000 mark ( which I hope we will with your generous donations), the project will be secure. Any funds left after the 44645 USD can be put towards maintenance or servicing the hospital & community the WaterWell will be supporting.

update
I would like to thank everyone that has been donating so far towards this worthy charitable project in Abdullahi's Memory. I pray Allah rewards you all for this generosity. We would be grateful if you could consider sharing the link for this gofundme me page to help us slowly get closer to raising the target to build this charitable deep water well in our brother Abdullahi's Memory.
We have had a verbal agreement to build the deep waterwell but since i have now received an official permit document from the local authority in shalambod somalia for our contractor, i am sharing it here with you attached for the sake of transparency as promised.

Update
I would like to thank those of you who have so far donated & shared towards the construction of this charitable Deep Water Well in Abdullahi's memory as Sadaqah for a community that needs it. Your generosity is inspiring and heartwarming.
Abdullahi as well as being kind, generous, valuing faith and family also enjoyed playing football and was actually quite good at it. In that spirit Abdullahi's close friends have organised a charitable football game in his memory on Saturday 31st December 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Castle Vale Stadium, Farnborough Road, Birmingham , B35 7LQ. If you wish to attend to watch the games and contribute towards raising more funds to reach the fundraising target please do so and spread the word. If you are unable to attend you can still help by sharing the gofundme page to help us reach this goal for Abdullahi.
21/01/2023 Update
Assalaamu Alaikum & Greetings Dear friends
Abdullahi was both affable and kind-hearted and we will always miss him. He has thankfully left behind family, friends and a community who are more than willing to continue in his stead to complete this Charitable Project (Sadaqa Jariya) in his name. I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for your support so far.
Just a few updates I would like to make you aware of. Abdullahi's close friends recently on the 31st of December organised a Charity football tournament. Abdullahi's Team won the tournament as well. It was a beautiful evening and the football skills on display were certainly impressive. From this evening of Football alone Abdullahi's friends managed to raise a total of £2052 and 21 pence so far which is in addition to the money so far raised on Gofundme.
Moreover, we have so far raised an additional £764 from a few private donors in the community and the local Mosque MahmudSabir where Abdullahi used to attend, this is also in addition to the money raised on Gofundme.
Again thank you for the kindness and support shown, I will continue to keep you updated as and when I receive additional information
