Kathy’s Story

Hello. My name is Kathleen Petgrave Burrowes. Four years ago, God sent me my husband, Yon. I knew that he suffered some minor health issues, but it turn out to be bigger than we both knew. We found out that he had limb girdle myasthenia, a rare disorder in which the muscles and nerves don't connect which causes the muscles to break down over time. I take care of both him and my 17 year old son, Dante, who has Down syndrome.

A little over a week ago, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I am not worried because by the Grace of God, I know I can beat it. I know that if we are faithful in all He says, we will have eternal life.

I am asking for financial help because I will be out of work for sometime as I fight this. I will be having surgery soon, but have no way of paying my medical bills as my husband is unable to work also. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
