Inclusive Playground for The Pinkerton Boys
Tax deductible
The Pinkerton family of Glenrock, Wyoming, includes six adoptive children with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Joey, Tracee, Anthony, Cameron, Julian, and Devlin were all adopted as teenagers by Shannon and Jason Pinkerton. The family love going out into their community and sharing their adventures under their username “The Pinkerton Boys” with more than 1.2M followers across Facebook and TikTok.
The boys LOVE to play, and play is a critical part of a child’s physical, emotional, and social development — especially for children with disabilities. But the nearest playground is a far drive from their home. Shannon Pinkerton searched online for a way to help her sons and was connected with Unlimited Play: a nonprofit that has brought more than 80 inclusive playgrounds to communities across the United States.
To celebrate their organization's 20th anniversary, Unlimited Play is thrilled to give back to the Pinkerton family with a fully inclusive playground right in their backyard. BUT WE NEED TO RAISE $20,000 MORE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! The playground will give the Pinkerton boys the freedom to play, climb, swing, and slide without limitations or barriers — just steps away from their home.
We must raise the remaining $20,000 needed for this $107,000 project before summer arrives. Help us give the gift of play to the inspirational Pinkerton family with a financial donation! No amount is too small to make a difference!
