Bella's vet fees

Hi my names Vikki, I wouldn't usually ask for help with vet bills but my much loved Bella got purposely ran over Sunday 5th may by a driver who sped up. He almost hit children in the process and then drove off leaving her for dead. In front of young children.

Bella is currently at the Royal Veterinary Hospital in Hatfield/Potters bar. She's currently in an oxygen cage having support with her breathing, she's on very strong pain killers and awaiting x rays to see if anything is broken.

Bella is home on 6 plus weeks strict cage rest. She's on strong pain relief and resting up in her large crate. She's very spaced out at the moment. Battered and bruised with a fractures on her pelvis and spine. The vets said how incredibly lucky she is given what she went through.

Currently her bill is at £1300, the driver is refusing to help with the bill. As a single mum of 5 children money is tight. I'd do anything to ensure I can cover the bills. The bill is likely to rise over the next 24 hours.

Bella is well known round our area as she does the school run with us in the afternoon. She visits a few houses round our area so she has a lot of love round her.

If anyone can help even with the smallest amount towards her vet treatment, Bella and I as well as the kids and the people locally that know her would massively appreciate any help.
