We are 2 of the best Vegan Cyclists on the planet!
Our goal is to raise enough funds to be able to travel to Taiwan in October to compete in the world prestigious Taiwan KOM 100km uphill race on the 28th of October 2016.
Why?
By giving money to our campaign you will be sending the following athletes who can potentially win the event and in doing so we will be able to prove that a Vegan diet and lifestyle is the most powerful for becoming the greatest form of yourself. Not to mention that promoting Veganism on the world sporting stage will be a huge leap forward for the Vegan movement.

The Tawan KOM is held yearly, it's one of the hardest races on the planet and is contested by some of the world's best cyclists including Pro riders.
The Athletes
Sam McCallum - AUS (right of photo) Sam started racing at a young age after switching from running, where he competed at a national level in 800m, 1500m and XC. With rapid progression, helped by his worldclass VO2 max of 82 he was quickly noticed by team owners and was thrust upon the Australian racing scene. Sam has gained podium results at multiple events throughout Australia and overseas, all before the age of 21. After taking the last two years off from racing to work on his strength/power, nutrition and goal focus, Sam is ready to return to racing by competing in the Taiwan KOM race.
"I'm the strongest physically and mentally that i've ever been on the bike, my power numbers are at record high levels and I now know what to eat to stay lean while providing my body with the best fuel possible"

Paul Van Zweel - South Africa <iframe media_type="0" media_id="wFLLGmY7Tqo" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/wFLLGmY7Tqo/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe> Paul started racing as a 1st year junior back in 2007. As a first year under 23 he raced for the continental team, Konica Minolta. This was the first pro team that Chris Froome raced for. Nationally Paul has had multiple wins and raced in the under 23 nations cup series in Europe, as well as helping his team mate win the Tour of Rwanda against class riders such as Louis Meintjes. He has consistently competed at domestic pro level since he started and has been involved in the mountain bike racing scene too.
Paul's strengths are climbing and time trial so that is why he wants to give the Taiwan KOM challenge a shot in addition to representing veganism which he is highly passionate about.
"I really love the challenge of pushing myself to the absolute limit as a natural athlete. I have kept consistent power numbers over the years and since going vegan I've been able to increase my endurance considerably. There is beauty in how difficult the sport is and it's part of what I live for.")
