Vehicle Fund for the Griggs Family

In April my father was involved in a car accident which resulted in my parents' car being total.  Unfortunately, my mother has Multiple Sclerosis and her income is very limited, and due to a series of unfortunate events my father has struggled to find consistent employment in his field of expertise, construction and trim work. 

Due to these circumstances, my parents are currently unable to purchase a new vehicle. This puts my father in a terrible bind as he needs transportation to get to work so that he can provide for our family. However, to keep a job he must have consistent and reliable transportation. 

Friends, I am humbly asking for your assistance to help my family in this situation. If you know Tom and Cindy, then you know that they are strong, independent, and hard-working people. They don't like asking for help, but there are times in life when we need it. 

I'm setting a goal of $5,000. I believe if we're able to reach this goal my family will have the means to find a reliable vehicle that will last for years to come. My goal is to raise this money over the next 3-4 weeks. 

We are trusting in the Lord that He will provide a vehicle for our family when the time is right. Even if you are unable to assist financially with this fundraiser, I ask that you join us in praying for my family and this situation.

In the midst of this frustrating situation, we are striving to practice the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths."
