Vehicles for disabled people
Donation protected
Starting a fundraiser for disabled people and their families on the NDIS to purchase a new vehicle that the NDIS will modify so we can gain more independence. The NDIS has guidelines where the vehicle has to be no more than 5 years old and no more than 85,000kms on the clock at the time of purchase. This guideline makes it financially difficult for disabled people and their families to purchase a car, especially if they are learning to drive and just want your independence, but we have this barrier. Disabled people have to drive specially modified cars, we cannot just get into our parents car to learn to drive or any other car that is not specially modified to suit our needs.
