Hello everyone!

We are the Greer sisters, and we are creating this GoFundMe to help our cousin, Brennan Buys. Brennan recently turned 16 and is a junior at Venice High school in Venice, Florida. He was recently diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His mother noticed he was weak and couldn’t get up out of bed. She brought him to Venice-Sarasota Memorial hospital, where he was immediately transferred to Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital. It was quite an immediate shock. No one expects to receive a cancer diagnosis for their young son, who has so much life ahead of him. We are all devastated. He is a hilarious and gentle soul and we hate to see him and his family in this position. We are hoping and praying that the good Lord will make his treatment and recovery as comfortable as possible, and, as we are in this fight together, would love to help.

Brennan’s mother, Leslie, is a 4th grade teacher at Gulf Gate Elementary school and his father Dimi is a sourcing manager. Johns Hopkins is an hour away from Venice, and Brennan’s younger brother will be back and forth attending his elementary school. The financial stresses from the high costs of cancer treatments are a lot for any family to bear. We are asking for the community to rally behind our family and root for Brennan during his fight! All funds are going to his treatments to offset Brennan’s family’s medical bills. Please post words of encouragement, below. We will give those to Brennan. Thank you and God bless you
