Ventura County Fire Relief
The latest spread of wildfires in Ventura County has led me to re-open my disaster relief fun, Fourth Quarter Comeback. Please give what you can and help my community rise from these ashes again. I personally promise you that all of this money will go to evacuation shelters and families who lost their homes.
My hometown of Ventura is devastated. In the blink of an eye, huge winds blew the Thomas fire all across the Ventura and Santa Paula hills and the fire made its way into our community.
Here is what happened to my father's house, where I grew up and where my family has spent the last 21 years:
All donations will go directly towards much-needed supplies to evacuation shelters in Ventura County:
Miners Building at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Blvd. in Ventura
Nordhoff High School, 1401 Maricopa Highway in Ojai.
Oxnard College Gymnasium, 4000 South Rose Ave. Oxnard, CA 93033
Santa Barbara Multi Activity Center, 552 University Road in Santa Barbara
Your donations will be used to purchase supplies like water, snacks, Cordova N95 masks, and clothes for people at the evacuation shelters.
Many families, including those of friends I grew up with and went to school with, have had the same happen to them. 600+ struuctures have been destroyed in the Thomas fire's wake. Please join me in helping one of the greatest American cities make a comeback in its darkest hour, rising from these ashes like a phoenix.
