Ventura Girls Wrestling CIF CHAMPIONS

In the past eight years Ventura girls wrestling has grown from only a few girls to over thirty. As for the rest of the world, girls wrestling has gone from only 3,800 in 2010 to 25,000 by the end of 2021 and continues to grow every year. Out of the eight years that we have had wrestling as a sport available for both boys and girls, this year is the first year in history that the girls at Ventura High School have made it all the way to CIF team dual champions. Our girls have worked hard all season to achieve this lasting goal, from hardcore workouts to insane conditioning. We have managed to be 10-0 and be undefeated in league and CIF duels. This is a huge accomplishment for us. Our goal is to reach $7,000 to buy championship rings for every girl on the team that helped us with little to no cost to them.
