On February 16, 2021 the world lost an amazing woman, Guadalupe (Lupe) Toledo-Vera. She was only 50 years old and a child at heart. She passed away at RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale where she was recovering from heart failure and calciphylaxis. Lupe has a wonderful family, including her husband Jose Manuel Vera and two beautiful daughters, Ariana and Miranda (Nani) Vera. She loved her daughter's deeply and was very proud of them. Her legacy lives on through her girls; they are kind, hardworking, and spread unconditional love to everyone around them. Nani is a senior in high school and Ariana is in college, working towards her nursing degree. Both girls excel in their academic endeavors, but now they are additionally putting forth effort to make financial contributions towards their family’s expenses. If you would like to raise money to help support the Vera family with their bills, schooling and necessities, any donation is greatly appreciated.
Lupe was the light of our family. She had an irreplaceable gift of making people laugh and always enjoyed helping others. She brought joy to everyone who knew her and she loved her family with a passion. She would do absolutely anything for them. She gave us the best memories and will always be remembered as the brightest shining star.
