Support for Vera Mae Wunsch

Hello Friends,

Many of you have asked me how to best help Kim and Vera Wunsch as they navigate without the light and love of husband and father Matt Wunsch, who sadly passed away on April 1. Matt and Kim (Iemma) were both 1985 graduates of NHS, and as a dear friend and classmate I’m honored to have this chance to support Kim, who has shown such strength and character during the most difficult time in her life.

There are two ways to help support the Wunsch family, with separate funds being directed toward two distinct goals.

First, this GO FUND ME has been established to provide short term financial support to Kim and Vera in the here and now; to assist Kim in maintaining the family household alone after 18 years together with Matt, and to help ensure Vera has all the necessities to continue to thrive as a healthy teenager while still adjusting to life without her dad.

Second, a live music fundraising event is happening Friday, Oct. 27 at Ocean Mist in Matunuck. WUNSCHFEST, a celebration of Matt's life and music, will bring together many talented and big hearted musicians performing in honor of Matt and his musical legacy. All proceeds from WUNSCHFEST, including all online and in person donations, will go directly to the Vera Mae Wunsch Educational Trust managed by Andy Wunsch.
