My name is Chuck Thomas. My friend Bryce and his 2 kids, Delainy and Brogan were involved in a serious accident recently involving a semi. Bryce has a fractured skull two ribs broke on right side 3 on left side, broken left arm. He’s inbad shape. His daughter has a broken pelvis some cracked ribs and a lacerated spleen, his son has a break in his neck a broken ankle and a lacerated spleen. They are all facing some serious rehabilitation and a long road ahead of them. His wife Nikki and brother Brock are in need of prayers, relief and anything we can do. Bryce is a chef at Sweetwater, a musician and a super dad. Hes a great friend. I love him dearly. Please help me help him. Thank you all.
FROM NIKKI ~ The reassuring presence of support is helping keep my composure (at least in front of the kids) and inspired me to stay strong. It is a comfort to know that despite the darkness, there is still light — specifically in the form of kindness and love from people close to me. Thank you for being my guiding star, for lending an ear, for offering a shoulder, for lightening my load with helpful actions. Through it all, I am so grateful that you are all by my side, reinforcing how lucky I am.
Although I may not have responded, I can feel the overwhelming support and love for my family. I have not found the strength to open any social medial platform - to be honest barely my phone in general.
I can not find words to express the gratitude I have for everyone reaching out and offering to help. It is hard for me, but I'm realizing I do not have a choice to do this by myself, it's impossible.
The days - hours have ran together and I honestly don't have concept of time or day. I can tell you this is the scariest - toughest - heaviest thing I have ever experienced. My heart is broken.
Bryce, Delainy and Brogan continue to make improvements. They may be tiny at times but they are the biggest I can imagine right now. They are all alive! Yes, this will be the a very long rough exhausting road - feels impossible right now. But we can get through this and I can honestly only focus on today, nothing more.
All the prayers are overwhelming - keep storming the heavens - God hears us!
