Urgent Assistance for a Single Parent's Lifeline (car)

As many of you may know, I have been a solo parent for nearly 3 years, I'm still very much 'getting on my feet' after leaving a bad relationship, being hospitalized for 2 weeks and having a surgery on my leg. I currently live in northern rural Michigan and work a traveling job as a housecleaner, doing residentials, Bnb's and a motel. I am the sole provider and support for my 6 year old child and my job/vehicle is incredibly important for us to survive.
I brought my Honda CRV in for a timing chain replacement this morning and learned that the cam shafts among other things were ruined and the engine itself is not worth saving. However, my mechanic is a literal Angel on Earth and found me a newer engine for my car with 90k miles on it, but I am roughly $2,500 *short* on the $3,900 bill to do the engine swap. I am currently living with friends-of-family and don't want to financially burden anyone, but I've already put my entire savings into this and started selling my belongings to cover the cost.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and for any consideration you may have in helping me financially to swap this engine and get back to work. Anything helps, truly.
