Vermonters for Ukraine
Donation protected
5/5/22 Dear Vermonters and all the incredible supporters of Ukraine!
We express our huge and heartwarming thank you for all the prayers and kind words to my country and our family. Thanks to your generosity we raised over $20,000 on Go Fund Me, which includes the cash and checks brought to the bakery. It took time, lots of paperwork and red tape, but with help from Sonya Spaulding money was finally moved to the bank account.
The next challenge was to find what was urgently needed. Most of the medical and first aid supplies were depleted causing backorders for 10-14 weeks.
Well, we can proudly say that last week thanks to your donations we purchased 664 packets of seals for occlusive wounds totalling $9,396. On Sunday the first 4 small - but very valuable in all senses of the word - boxes will be flown to Europe and ready to save at least 700 plus lives. A separate thank you to Jeremy Hansen who will help with this delivery.
We would like to assure you that we are trying to find the best prices and shortest shipping time for these and other emergency supplies to help win this ugly war. Next week we have another delivery of the requested first aid supplies that will be going to Ukraine very soon.
We still accept donations at GoFundMe or
You can make a direct transfer/deposit to “Vermonters for Ukraine” account
At Community National Bank in Barre, VT
We accept cash and checks at the bakery window as well
Thank you and God bless you all

3/26/22 We are so appreciative of all the people that have donated to this fundraiser. We are working through the details of getting the funds released so we can purchase items to send to Ukraine. We will keep you all posted as we have more information!
Larissa Haas is from Ukraine, but lives in Barre and runs a bakery with her husband Jim. Her heart is breaking with the news of what is happening to her home country. She is trying to raise money to send essentials like hygiene products, clothes, food, first aid and medications to Ukraine. Please help Larissa give back to her fellow Ukrainians by contributing whatever you can.
