Vernard "Worm" Toney Jr.

Vernard was a very caring, loving and sensitive son. He was also very sensitive to how I felt about the negative things he was doing that I knew were wrong. When he was in the house he always wanted to help me out with raising his brothers and he always wanted me to care for him. It's hard for me to speak about what happened when he left the house because that wasn't the person I saw everyday when he was home. I'll never make an excuse for anything my son did but he didn't deserve to lose his life. I wish I could go back to the 28th and beg for him to make better decisions, so that myself and my sons would be able to wake up everyday and still see Worm. So that my sons could still watch SWAT with their older brother. So they could see him come home and walk the dog and make them pancakes and waffles. And for my son to still need me to take care of me. I'm humbly asking for you to pour into my family to help me give my son a homegoing and a time for our family to lay my son to rest.
