As many of you will already be aware, we received the devastating news that Vernon had taken his own life on July 31st 2023 . A dad, a son, a brother, a partner, a colleague and a friend to so so many ❤️

Nothing prepares a family for this type of loss. Left with so many unanswered questions.

You always believe there will be a tomorrow and can never quite process not seeing them again. Vernon always seemed so happy and that makes this so much more difficult process. The family are still learning so much new information and trying to piece together this tragedy

Vernon had a unique character and was loved by so many. His craziness will be something that we all remember. That big cheeky smile will be missed by so many. ❤️

Vernon did things his way and whilst we might never understand his choices, we have to live with them, support each other through them and carry his memories forward

A big part of Vernon’s working life was spent within the bus industry and whilst he made mistakes, he made memories, he made friends and he touched so many hearts ❤️

I would never normally ask for help or donations. However, many friends and family from all over has asked this be set up. So many wanting to offer their help and support.

No matter how big or small any contribution will go towards Vernon’s funeral and supporting his children through this difficult time. ❤️
