Fort Worth Police Corporal / Homicide Detective Veronica Coronado #3786 was diagnosed with Oropharyngeal Cancer of her Tonsils that spread to her left lymph node in July 2022. She began daily radiation/chemo treatments August 2022. Doctors provided a hopeful prognosis that her cancer will be both treatable and curable. Her Oncologist instituted a strict seven week treatment plan and “V” has been a fighter the entire way through. Expenses related to a debilitating illness, especially cancer, can compound quickly as long term treatment comes with daily expenses. I would like to make this difficult time a little less stressful for her by making donations available to her directly. Veronica is a single mother of two children. Her son is only 17 and does everything in his power to make sure his mother is cared for when he gets home from school. She pours love into her friendships and devotion into her stressful job.
