Veronica's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Veronica Carranza was diagnosed with advanced bile duct and liver cancer. Veronica was receiving chemotherapy treatment to prolong her health and evidently her life. She is now seeking an advanced treatment away from home that is trying to rid the cancer altogether, but this treatment, unfortunately, has not been approved to be covered by her health insurance.
Locally, at home, her oncologist suggested that chemotherapy was devastatingly not turning into an option to turn to for answers. The family had to pack an overnight bag and head 7 hours away from home to seek consultation for alternative treatment. Veronica and her family are now being given an opportunity to steer her health in the right direction in which she will be away from her family at such a difficult time for the duration of treatment.
The advanced treatment means Veronica will undergo full treatment for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week for the next 3 weeks. Unfortunately, to continue the treatment in San Diego, CA, (7 hours away from home) this means a majority of the expenses will have to be out of pocket to make up for what her health insurance will not cover, living, and travel expenses during the time of treatment. Calculating all expenses the total adds up to $10,000 a week. The family at this time asks for all and any help to continue the treatment for Veronica Carranza. No donation is too small. Thank you for your time and generosity. #GoBeyondGiving
