These two wonderful people had Everything they worked so hard to build taken away.
They were moving from Nevada to San Francisco, CA, in order for Jonathan to pursue helping employees of the VA, when they were robbed at a Double Tree Hotel!! In Pleasanton, CA.
Please help these two, who are my dear friends !!
They have nothing but the clothes on there back and a few blankets.
Jonathan Munoz is a combat veteran with 3 combat tours in the Army in just over 10 and a half years in the Army. He was awarded the bronze star after his last tour to Afghanistan.
Raquel Munoz is a dental assistant that was a foster child and struggled her whole life to build a life for herself.
They have always been there for others and have worked to help people and animals in need.
Raquel had her entire business plan, materials, and documented success stories of her work with dogs in that uhaul. She was going to use these to open her own business helping people train and rescue dogs.
Jonathan had his entire military records, medical documents for his multiple combat related disabilities, uniforms, and medals that included his bronze star in that uhaul.
Jonathan has spent the last 4 years helping victims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, to include sexual harassment, secure their employment rights and he helped guide them through the process of reporting and investigating these issues. He planned on opening his own private non-profit to help educate, consult, and provide aide for victims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. He lost all his materials and years of paperwork in the theft of that uhaul.
Anything helps.
