Veteran Chris Porraro

We are raising money to combat the mounting medical bills being incurred by our dear friend Chris Porraro. His story follows: 

Chris enlisted in the Air national Guard in 1997. In 2001 , he was sent to Prince Sultan AFB in Saudia Arabia  and then to Turkey for Operation northern watch.
After the September 11th attacks, he was again activated for operation enduring freedom until 2003.
Chris was once again activated for hurricane Katrina in 2005 and various other humanitarian missions and NATO training.
His Air Force specialty was Aircraft Structural maintenance.
In 2009 he cross trained into the contingency response group doing satellite wide band and telecommunications.
In 2010, he blew out a cervical disk in his neck that he couldn't recover from.  He was medically retired in 2013.
2016 He was diagnosed with Hairy cell leukemia.
In Feb 2018 he had open heart surgery to have an Aortic aneurysm repair.
And in 2019 after a long recovery, Chris started his Leukemia treatment.

Please help us return the favor and serve this American patriot by helping him with his mounting medical bills. A veteran on permanent disability can not begin to afford the cost of treatment for all of these procedures and we in good conscience should not forget what he gave for our freedom and not allow him to face this challenge alone.
