Veteran Needs Air Ambulance to Boston

Our Mother was admitted at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando on The 4th of July. Her diagnosis is stage 4 COPD , As the result of that, her lungs were failing . She was then immediately incubated and put on a ventilator for 18 days .The only way to keep get her off of the ventilator so she could breathe on her own, was to perform a Tracheostomy, followed by inserting a feeding tube. The procedure is now life changing for my mom as well as my family. The Doctors said she needs 6 Months of Hospitalization in an acute patient care facility. I have reserved a bed for her at Spaulding in Cambridge Massachusetts . The challenge is getting our Mom to Massachusetts . Her insurance company has denied to authorize the cost for the Air Ambulances, even though we have told her the insurance she has no family in the state of Florida, that can help take care of her. Now with her diagnosis, it prevents her from being able to live independently. We have called every medical Air Ambulance company in the sate of Florida . Their is Veterans owned and operated company by the name of All care. My family as well as my own Mother has put together all the money we have.
