VETERAN SPOUSE NEEDS IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yvonne May. I tragically lost my husband Carl May unexpectedly because of someone's neglect. I also lost according to FEMA 50% of my home during Hurricane Ian, including its contents, all in the same week. Our homeowners' insurance refuses to cover much of the loss. FEMA communicated I should leave my home due to mold and leaks. Carl was recently service-connected after a 9 yr battle with the VA and was waiting for a transplant, he had a living donor.
Carl served in the Navy, Army, Army Reserves, and the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the VFW. Carl was a loving husband he married me knowing I had breast cancer. We took care of each other. The loss of my husband was senseless. I pray that the kindness of family, friends, and strangers will help me to piece some parts of my life back together. I hope to give him a service to include Doves, Butterflies, and a Colorguard. My whole life has changed. There is no life insurance. I need to pay off the Rubicon Jeep, he recently purchased. I need to move the dogs back inside, there are no longer gates to keep them in the yard.
It would mean the world to me, to restore our home back to its original specs. Carl was a Construction Superintendent and literally put blood, sweat, and tears into this home.
I thank you in advance for your financial assistance... No donation will be considered too small or too large. Blessings on your whole life.
Thank you Carl May for taking good care of me, you are being missed
