More information about Legal Counsel for the Elderly: Legal Counsel for the Elderly champions the dignity and rights of Washington, DC's seniors by providing free legal services to our older neighbors in need -- empowering, defending and protecting vulnerable elders. Legal Counsel for the Elderly helps our older low-income neighbors by stopping foreclosures and evictions, promoting affordable housing, aiding seniors victimized by scams and predators, and much more. Each year we help 6,000+ at-risk elders and involve 800+ volunteers in our work.
