Eagle Project: Veteran's Memorial Ring Of Honor

My name is Eddie. I am a Life Scout in Troop 114, working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

My Eagle Scout project is "Honor our Veterans." Our local Veteran's memorial has one flag pole with the American flag. I will enhance the memorial by building a ring of honor. The ring of honor will include flags for each of the six military branches.

I think it is essential to have all the flags of the military displayed to further our reflection and gratefulness for those Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, and Guardians who have given so much to and for us. We can live freely because of their service.

My work will include installing the six flagpoles and planting a perennial garden around the memorial.

The estimate for materials and equipment needed is $5500.
