Veterans Need Aid From The Citizen Soldier In You

I honestly feel sick to my stomach forcing myself to write these words asking for your financial support. I, and other veterans like myself, could never have imagined we would have to.

We are the throwaway service men and women who wanted nothing more than to continue serving our country and you.

Illegal firings of military veterans without warning or assistance now leaves many of us with nothing but hope and hard work as we react to a surprise attack that has created a new crisis of bare necessity. Food, clothing, shelter. Rent and bills that may be paid today but without your support cannot be met within the coming days.

This fund will be made available to all those facing the trenches and foxholes we’ve been suddenly thrown into. Anything you can afford to give will help get us through safely while we fight to find future ways of serving you once again. It’s not what we want, it’s what we do.

For that, we as veterans salute you, the Americans. The truest of the red, the white, the black, and the blue. This time it is we who thank you.
