Veterans Outreach and Family Resource Center

      The Veterans Outreach and Family Resource Center helps veterans in keeping their housing, finding housing, paying bills, and providing food and clothing for themselves and their families. The Veterans Outreach and Family Resource Center operates on private donations provided by members of the public and fundraisers put on by the outreach volunteers. 

      The outreach center is open to all veterans of all branches of the U.S. military including Army Reserve and National Guard members and their families to provide support. At the center, veterans can come in and relax, watch some television, and have a cup of coffee and they are welcome to use the Onsight washing machine and dryer to take care of some laundry if they need to and, in some cases, even a place to sleep.

      The center also provides a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) who is on sight every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm to help veterans and their family members with assistance in seeking federal benefits that they may be entitled to. The center also has volunteers that are there throughout the week that can also help and assist veterans with forms and information that they may be seeking and assist with the filing of any forms and or applications to gain federal benefits.

      All funds that are raised will go directly to keeping the doors open in the center and in support of helping veterans and their families stay in their homes, have heat, and enjoy another home-cooked meal when needed.

      Sometimes a veteran finds himself in a tough situation, he might be living on a limited income supporting a family with only one car. The car might need some maintenance that otherwise would leave that car inoperable, leaving that soldier with the inability to get to work and support his family. Another situation is those soldiers that found themselves homeless due to struggles in their lives with no help in direction or a place to live. We help those needing help to get the mental health that is desperately needed. No Veteran or family members stay behind.

      Our goal is to continue to help those veterans and their families in need, and we at the Veterans Outreach and Family Resource Center are reaching out across America to ask for your help in keeping the doors open so that we may continue to help our nation's veterans who have risked everything and their families to so get the help they so desperately need.
