Veterinarian Care for Bynx the Cat

I am a volunteer at the Anderson County Animal Shelter in Tennessee. I met an amazing young woman age 14 that also volunteers through her high school.

Her grandmother is her guardian and the guardian of her brother and three cousins. She is completely dedicated to the animals at the shelter, posting on social media the availability of the animals. She works tirelessly for the animals.

This week she was telling me of her cat Bynx. Bynx has had a very rough life and continues to suffer. This is what my young friend, shared with me.

"We are needing a check up because she has had diarrhea every since she ended up at our house. She uses the litter box sometimes but also sometimes we think she can't control it and she uses it where she is at so makes us think she has something going on with her so she will most likely need bloodwork, heartworm test, ect... We also need her some shots, spayed, and everything else that you would need for a regular cat and with all the test and that it will cost a lot of money.

We got her because someone threw her out of the car and she just decided to stay at our house. She is very sweet. And cuddles on her own time. She loves to play outside and will follow me wherever I go when I'm outside. She has a funny sleeping position she likes to just come up to you and plop her butt on your foot and her head on the ground. We think that she may be an older cat but we have no way of telling since we don't have money to take her to the vet. We think the reason why they dropped her off is because they couldn't afford the vet bill.

I am hoping to raise enough money for the family to take Bynx to the vet and get the help this kitty needs.
