Hi, friends.  Kelley here.  Jeff was my boyfriend/significant other/whatever is politically correct to call a person you spent 6 weeks short of 18 years with.  He was a talented finish carpenter who loved the river and couldn't wait to get out there permanently. 

Jeff died unexpectedly of a GI bleed the hospital couldn't save him from.  Our last conversation was "How does spaghetti sound for dinner?  Sounds good.  Going back to work...see you later.  Later."  He was comatose, possibly already dead when I got home 4 hours later.  He was pronounced at 2:13AM 9/14/20.

I'm having him cremated by the Neptune Society and could use a little help with the cost.  Our financial picture was already pretty grim and this is just a blow I'm having trouble figuring out how to handle.

I'm embarrassed to have to do this, but if I have to eat my pride to make this happen, it's what I have to do.

To quote one of Jeff's favorite stupid movies, Beer Fest, "he was an asshole, but he was my asshole".
