Housing emergency. Anything helps.
I've applied for emergency assistance through my insurance provider, but the wait time is is 6-8 weeks.
My total medical bills are right at $750,000 for the last two years (can provide documentation). Fortunately, insurance has covered nearly 100%.
I had minor surgery on my arm on May 13. Still recovering from a February 23 surgery on my left arm and hand. Looks like one more major surgery within the next several months, which involves moving my pacemaker to the right side of chest, removing a rib, and stenting the clot in my left subclavian vein.
I'm finally towards the end of the federal disability process, with positive resolution hopefully with in the next 2-3 months.
As crazy as this sounds, in the last two years I've had a combined 75 medical office visits, zoom appointments, procedures, tests, and surgeries. Seven surgeries on my arm alone. I'm basically trying to manage with 1 and 1/4 arms and hands. Blood clot in the left upper extremity, numbness and weakness in forearm and hand, and a very uncomfortable cold sensation in my left hand that makes it very hard to grasp any objects.
I can provide any medical records that would make you more comfortable in considering assistance. Including work disability letters.
Thank you.
