We are coming to you with the heaviest of hearts; Christopher Scott Ferris, age 26, of Hermitage, Tennesee, was called home by our Lord and Savior on January 31, 2016. This beautiful little boy (who stole our whole families hearts from the moment he entered this world), was born to Scott and Terri Ferris on May 2, 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has been a resident of Hermitage, Tennessee for the past 15 years and attended McGavock High School, where he was an avid athlete.

Unfortunately, his untimely passing has left his immediate family with the burden and expense of burying their son. No parent should ever have to bury their child, but God had different plans for Christopher and has called him home.

So many family and friends have asked what they can do to help in the wake of this tragedy. We have set up a way to support Chris's family with funeral expenses. If you can find it in your heart to help this family, it would be greatly appreciated. Any amount will make a difference. The generosity and kind hearts of their family, friends, and our amazing community, will help ease the burden of this family’s great loss. Only time will begin to mend the broken hearts of those he left behind, but your generousity will allow them to focus on the physical and mental healing, rather than continue to stress over how they will give their son the proper burial and servie that he so deserves. Please help them to be able to peacefully lay their precious son to rest.

Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and please feel free to share with as many people as possible.  May God bless you.
