Ayudemos a Ana a estudiar en Madrid

Hola.

Ana de Benito es dominico-española. Actualmente reside en república dominicana.
Es diseñadora de comunicación visual y artista visual, sus medios como artista visual son la ilustración ,grabado , fotografía , pintura y tatuaje .

Pero su gran vocación es hacer cine .

Hace un tiempo que trabaja en el departamento de arte para proyectos audiovisuales (largometrajes, cortos, videoclips y comerciales).

Actualmente ha sido aceptada en el Instituto Del Cine en Madrid para cursar tres años de dirección de fotografía.

Está optando a las becas pero no puede recibir una durante el primer curso por no residir en España al momento de solicitarla. El primer curso tiene un costo de 6000 euros sin ayuda de becas, por añadido están los gastos de vuelo, manutención y transporte en Madrid.


Palabras de Ana:

Una de mis grandes motivaciones para estudiar dirección de fotografía en Madrid es todo lo que he visto y vivido como alguien que tiene una identidad cultural formada en dos países con niveles de recursos tan diferentes. Seguir formándome como cineasta es la oportunidad de seguir creciendo como comunicadora y contar las historias que necesitan ser contadas.

Pequeña biografía:

Nacida en Madrid, hija de madre dominicana y padre español. Creció en Almería, una pequeña ciudad al sur de España, donde estudió el bachillerato de artes en la Escuela de Arte de Almería.

Posteriormente se muda a República Dominicana, dónde se forma en Bellas artes e Ilustración y diseño de comunicación visual con enfoque en fotografía, ambos títulos obtenidos en Chavón, La Escuela De Diseño afiliada a Parsons The New School for Design.

Ya desde antes de terminar de estudiar Ana está involucrada en el mundo profesional audiovisual siendo “Miriam Miente” la primera película en la que trabaja, tanto como en el panorama cultural de su entorno en el que participa de manera activa, haciendo labores de gestión cultural o participando en exposiciones y eventos relacionados con el arte.

Hi.

Ana de Benito is Dominican Spanish. Currently residing in the Dominican Republic.

She is a visual communication designer and visual artist, her means as a visual artist are illustration , printmaking , photography , painting and tattoo. 

But his great vocation is to make movies.

She has been working in the audiovisual art department for a time (feature films, shorts, video clips and commercials works).

Currently she has been accepted in two prestigious film schools in Madrid, the ECAM and The Film Institute to study cinematography for three years.

Ana is applying for scholarships but can not receive a grade during the first course because she does not reside in Spain at the time of request. The first course has a cost of 6000 euros without help, but also the costs of flight, maintenance and transportation in Madrid.


Ana's words:

One of my great motivations to study photography in Madrid is everything I have seen and experienced in the Dominican Republic as a developing country. I think it is vital that each of us do our bit to improve reality. Formulate as a filmmaker in one of the best schools is the opportunity to continue training as best as possible to use my power as a communicator and tell the stories that need to be told.


Small biography:

Born in Madrid, daughter of a Dominican mother and Spanish father. She grew up in Almería, a small town in southern Spain, where he studied art high school at the School of Art of Almería.

Later he moved to the Dominican Republic, where he trained first in Fine Arts and Illustration and then in visual communication design with a focus on photography, both titles obtained in Chavón, the Design School affiliated with Parsons The New School for Design.

Even before finishing her studies, Ana is involved in the audiovisual professional world, being "Miriam Miente" the first film she works on (a well-known project that points out social problems such as racism or the social hierarchy in the Dominican Republic) as well as the cultural landscape of its environment in which it participates actively, doing cultural management tasks or participating in exhibitions and events related to art
