Transport Vehicle - Deaf Dogs Rock

In 2019 our community was successful in raising funds to purchase a dedicated transport vehicle. This vehicle, a 2017 Dodge Caravan, has been used to transport hundreds of dogs. But, as with all things mechanical, Murphy can strike, and the transmission has suffered a complete failure and needs to be replaced.

This fundraiser was created to raise $7500 needed for the repair of the Deaf Dogs Rock transport vehicle.

Our Commitment to Financial Responsibility -

Your donations to this cause will have the maximum impact possible in helping deaf dogs - our organization has a proven track record of financial responsibility. We have done our due diligence planning this repair - considering both rebuilt and factory new options for the transmission. While a rebuilt transmission may provide short-term savings, a new transmission through our local Dodge dealership carries a 100,000-mile warranty, and this is in keeping with our commitment to safety and long-term ability to provide services. The parts (transmission, cooler, and cooler lines) are a bit under $5000, then installation labor, fluids and service, and towing bring the total to $7500.

Any funds raised over the goal will be banked and earmarked solely for future upkeep and repairs of the Deaf Dogs Rock transport vehicle.

What Your Donations Will Do -

Frequently the key to saving a deaf dog in need lies a couple hundred miles away at a safe rescue. We have a trusted network of partners willing to take in and foster these deaf dogs, but we have to get them there. All funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards the repair of our transport vehicle.
