VFW NB Post 511
Donation protected
The VFW, Post 511 in New Britain, was looking forward to celebrating its 100th anniversary this October. We had big plans in the works, for our Veterans and their families. Unfortunately, due to the Covid 19 virus, this is no longer possible. We are now faced with the possibility of keeping our doors closed for good, as we have taken extreme financial hits, from the ordered shut down, in order to keep all of our Veterans and community members safe, due to the spreading of this terrible virus.
In order to reopen, and stay within compliance of the new regulations, we are asking for all of your help. All contributions would help us to keep our VFW open, and continue serving our community, our veterans, and their families. This will be a major challenge for us. Without your help, we may fail, but it is not in our blood, to give up without every solution being tried, and given 100% of our effort. Our goal is to raise 60,000. This would help us cover all VFW bills, including the replacement of our roof (as when it rains, it pours)
we will be grateful for any donation, no matter how large or small. If you are unable to give, we would be honored if you would share our cause with your friends, family. All help is appreciated greatly. If you'd like to know more, or have any questions, please contact, our commander, Doug DelBiondo, [phone redacted]
