VFW Post 9008 New Building Fund

Currently, we occupy a small building consisting of two floors, approximately 25’ by 25’ square feet, that is not sustainable for future use as we grow in numbers. Additionally, we are on a year-by-year lease, and the owners have plans for alternate usage of this building, making us homeless within the next year. Currently, we do not have the space to support the community with a meeting place for veteran’s functions, memorials, Boy/Girl Scouts, VFW Auxiliary, and the many other youth, community, and patriotic organizations.

We intend to solve this problem by purchasing a new property located Millbrook, New York. The property is comprised of two buildings. This will allow us to conduct regular meetings, fundraising activities, and veteran events, and has the potential of hall rentals for the local community. We are also planning to activate the bar occasionally, serving theme-night selected meals.
