CALLING ALL ANGELS

Just as life can be well established for everyone at one time or another, life can also become unpredictable at the most inopportune moments, uncertain of what the future may hold
My very good friend of 35 plus years, Lorig Buckley is experiencing a huge loss and subsequent unnecessary struggle. Despite her well established and never ending drive, love of life, and search for positivity, she is overwhelmed with the recent loss of her ex-husband, Donner Buckley. Donner died unexpectedly from a ruptured brain aneurysm this past summer, causing a shockwave through her family. Having survived a brain aneurysm myself, I know the devastation this causes, and I see the tragedy that his passing has created for the entire family. It is heartbreaking and they need help.
Donner was the father of their 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 18, 17, 15, and 13. Although Lorig has been a single mom for some time, she has not felt this alone, with the sudden death of her children’s father. He died young at 55. Lorig is struggling to balance everything, working 2 jobs, trying to maintain all the bills and manage all the children’s’ necessities, and its still not enough. As a result of his cause of death, the children all need to be checked due to the genetic correlation of brain aneurysms. They are at a difficult age, all teenagers, and this is a lot to take in, while still mourning.
Her oldest daughter is a freshman at Temple University, thankfully through her hard work and determination in applying and receiving grant funding, merit scholarships, private scholarships, loans, and contributions. She does still have 3 more years to pay partial tuition and maintain her high GPA to continue receiving her funding, Moreover, her 17 year old son, showing promise as an engineer, is a senior in high school and is now applying to colleges with tuition at an all time high.
I am asking you all, strangers, friends and family to help Lorig and her children in their time of desperate need. Please donate what you can to help them get through this difficult time. Thank you for reading. Every donation small or large can make a huge difference.
