Help Riley to run

Hi I'm Kirsten and I'm raising funds for my beautiful niece Riley. We would like to thank all those who donated to the last fundraiser over 14 months ago.

You helped ease the financial pressures this beautiful family faced & helped put Riley through Red Cord therapy twice a week during that period. Although she isn't crawling or walking yet this 3 year old has grit & determination like I've never seen before. She's developed strong little thigh muscles & is currently wearing leg casts to help keep her feet in a position for standing. We're hoping with the continuation of Red Cord therapy & proposed intensive therapies that this will be her year to shine.  
Riley had a traumatic birth and as a result of low oxygen levels during birth has developed Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy and has global development delays amoungst other health issues. Riley has seen over 18 specialists in her life & the doctors are still baffled by some of her ailments. Riley is currently having issues with vomiting & as a result struggling to put on weight & is facing the possibility of a feeding tube. The family are constantly traveling to & from Newcastle (an hour away) with numerous appointments, sometimes 3-4 times a week.

Her Dad Luke works full time & mows lawns on his days off to make ends meet. Raising Riley is a full time job for her Mum Emma but she still manages to fit in a few house cleaning jobs & spray tans where she can. They are the hardest working couple I know & unfortunately it's still not enough to cover all the medical costs they incur. 

Luke & Emma are physically and emotionally exhausted yet they keep moving forward for Riley to give her a chance at a better future. Although we can't ease the emotional stresses they face on a daily basis we can help out with the financial burdens. 

Riley's parents never expected to be in this situation but the love and support they have received has touched their hearts.

There are no words to explain the joy a parent gets when they see thier child take their first steps and with your help and support I'm certain we can make this dream a reality for them.
