International Medical Corps work in Ukraine
Tax deductible
I am raising funds for International Medical Corps and their life-saving efforts in Ukraine, and I’m asking for your support. International Medical Corps is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by the World Health Organization with an A rating from CharityWatch for efficiency and financial accountability. Its mission is to provide medical relief and mental health services for people suffering the impacts of conflict, disaster, and disease in some of the toughest places in the world. With every response, they also provide training for local health workers, leaving communities better prepared to be their own best First Responders.
With millions of Ukrainian refugees fleeing the country or displaced within their own country, their future is unknown. I support International Medical Corps because the war in Ukraine is creating a humanitarian crisis, and this is the most effective way I can make a positive difference.
Looking back at my family’s history, my grandfather and his family experienced what it was like for their country, formerly known as Yugoslavia, to be taken away by an authoritarian regime. When Yugoslavia became communist, they were forced to flee their country and lost everything. As I observe this conflict and think about it from my own perspective and the personal connection it has to my family history, I am compelled to do something, and I am asking for your help.
Your generous gift will help International Medical Corps bring health care and hope to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Thanks for considering my request,
