Cindy Torres

Cindy Torres returned to heaven on January 24, 2024.

She was raised in a loving, bilingual Spanish and English home by her parents who devoted their lives to making the lives of Cindy and her siblings that much better.

Cindy grew up playing the piano, violin, soccer, basketball and taking ballet lessons. She loved make-up and all things beauty. Her family gave her the wings to fly however, sadly, as an adult, Cindy encountered struggles that proved too difficult for her to overcome.

Cindy was the victim of domestic violence and as a byproduct of an unhealthy relationship with a significant other, suffered from depression and problems with her mental health.

She had six (6) beautiful children (ages 16, 12, 8, 5, 3 and 1) who she cared for and who were the shining lights in her life. One of Cindy's children has special needs. While Cindy gave her heart and soul to the raising and caring for these children, Cindy could not do it alone and relied on the financial support and care her family could provide her and her children. With Cindy's passing, the care and financial support necessary to provide for the needs of the children has increased.

In Cindy's absence, Cindy's family will be taking on the care giving of these children. Cindy's family is extremely private and while they are in shock at the circumstances of the past few weeks, they are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love they have received from others. The family is hopeful that they can ask others to contribute to the children's future needs and expenses while they navigate this uncertain path forward.
