My landlord-housemate has become increasingly unpleasant and scary; while I have permission from my boss to move to the east coast and keep my job, I don't have the money to move right now. $3500 will allow me to move myself, my dog Peachy, and my cat Theseus from Oregon to Virginia, break my current lease, and pay the deposit on a new apartment.
My landlord-housemate (T) has started showing some very scary signs that make me feel unsafe living here. He shouts at me, doubles down when I ask him to stop, and blames the shouting on him being upset and stressed. When told that this upsets and scares me, he downplays the effects, again tries to justify his actions and behaviors by saying he's stressed, and gets mad when I don't accept his non-apology. He and his mother are so fixated on him having kids that I overheard her say that she could fix my lack of a uterus, and he agreed with her.
This is not a safe or restful living environment for me or my pets. He's also started showing a concerning disregard for my stuff, taking them from where I had them stored and scattering them about the house randomly without telling me, breaking some of them in the process. The house itself is also not well maintained-there's a large hole in the ceiling of one of the bathrooms where mold is growing, which has been ignored for over six months, and there are constantly piles of dirty dishes and food trash left all over one of the floors of the house.
Attached are pictures of the conditions in the house, as well as my Very Good pets
