Godspeed MC stands in the gap for those unsheltered and underserved in Orange County.   We provide a hot meal, food pantry items, bake goods, clothing, shoes, back packs, towels, toiletries and other necessities. We meet these needs with 100% donated dollars/goods.However, we do much more than just distribute donations and food. We bring with us two full-sized portable shower units We believe that our homeless should have access to clean showers and personal hygiene. Showering is one of the least available services to those not living in shelters. This is not only dehumanizing but poses quite a health risks for these individuals. Godspeed MC is bringing showers to the homeless regularly. Seeing a young man or pregnant woman come out of the shower, fresh and rejuvenated is more rewarding than words can describe. It’s truly transforming for these individuals. We restore dignity and bring joy with our shower units. However, we can only do so much with the resources we have. Our hearts are moved to do more.With your help we will be able to do more. The need is much greater than our small beginnings. We are blessed and grateful to have and do what we can. Our vision for the future is to have more which will give us the ability to do more. With your help we can improve and expand our services. We can reach more people. Change more lives. With your donations we will be able to design and implement sustainable programs to meet the needs of Orange County’s most vulnerable homeless.
