Vidalia’s Surgery Fund (Now With More Urgency!)

Hey everyone!

It’s been a long while since I’ve updated this, and it feels a little awkward reaching out again, but I’m finding myself in a situation. You should know that I’ve been working toward a major surgery scheduled for July 2025, and the financial side of things has been tougher than I anticipated.

The past five years have been transformative I feel like. I’ve learned a lot about myself and about the kind of woman I want to be, and, yeah, I’ve made some mistakes along the way. But it’s genuinely been a good time. I’ve reached a point where I feel confident saying: I am who I am, and who I am is good. Now, I just need a little help to fully step into this next chapter.

I’ve been steadily chipping away at the cost through—therapy, prescriptions, appointments, insurance, etc.—but I’m at the point where I’m realizing I can’t fully cover everything and recovery alone. I don’t want to put pressure on anyone, and even emotional support and encouragement are hugely appreciated. If you can spare a little extra right now, it would make a massive difference in my journey toward finally feeling at home in myself.
