Vibeke's Capernwray Bible school

Hi! My name is Vibeke Wyatt and I'm 18 years old. In June I graduate from the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme, which I have studied for the past three years at a school in Borås, Sweden. My mother is Swedish and my father English, and for the past 8 years we have lived here in Sweden, but I was born and raised outside Birmingham in England. I have put a lot of effort into my studies, and expect to do well in my exams. Eventually, I hope to go to university although I am undecided on what to study and would like a break before I proceed.
After considering several different options, I decided that I would like to attend a Bible school. I have applied and been accepted to the Torchbearer centre Capernwray Hall in Lancashire, and will spend at least 22 weeks there whilst attending Winter Bible School. From this experience I wish to gain a deeper foundation in the Christian faith, learn from experienced lecturers and have the possibility to fully devote my time to my faith before choosing which path to take next.
As a child, I went to a Christian school called St Barnabas, was part of our local Methodist church together with my family and attended Brownies weekly. I was confirmed in 2015, have been to several youth camps since moving to Sweden, as well as being part of the planning and organising committee of a Christian family camp called Kuvarp since 2013. Moreover, I am part of a small school-group that meets weekly and have been an active member during my IB course. Since my father comes from a Quaker background, my family participates in Quaker meetings monthly as well.
Throughout life my dad has chosen to work for social and environmental organisations and charities, rather than more well paid jobs and my mom has through ill-health been a "stay-at-home mother" when my brother and I were younger. Now she is the sole "bread-winner", but still only able to work part-time. Hence, we are not an affluent family.
In order to attend Bible school (fees £6495) I will work during the summer, apply for grants but also hope to receive a target 10,000 SEK (ca £800) through donations. I would be overjoyed if you would like to support me! Thank you!
