Vicente “Chente” Rodriguez Memorial Fund
On February 21, 2020, Vicente “Chente” Rodriguez, went home to be with the Lord, passing away unexpectedly at the age of 34. Chente, was best known by his family and friends for selflessly serving others, and for loving reptiles, the outdoors, and guns. Chente loved taking his nieces, nephews and God children to the zoo, always treating them as if they were his own. With his best fiends, Chente loved being outdoors, hunting, hiking and making his own jerky. At home, Chente raised snakes and cared for his tortoises. Chente selflessly cared for his sisters, mom, and Abuelita, becoming the head of household at the age of 21, after his Abuelito Jesus passed away. Chente was his fathers caretaker after his dual-transplant surgery. As a professional, Chente worked in the mental health field, always being an advocate for his clients and looking out for their best interests. Chente was adored by coworkers, and was the best friend anyone could ask for.
This memorial has been set up, so that we can honor Chente with a proper burial, and provide support to his family during this difficult time. Blessings.
